Nicholas Conn is a leading addiction specialist, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate, dedicated to transforming addiction recovery through innovative, accessible solutions.

As the Founder and CEO of Help4Addiction—one of the UK’s largest addiction advisory services—he has helped thousands of individuals and families navigate the complex world of rehab and recovery.

Nicholas’ journey is deeply personal. A former police officer, he battled cocaine addiction, which ultimately led him to homelessness on the streets of Berlin. His lived experience of addiction and recovery fuels his passion for removing stigma and improving access to life-changing treatment.

Building on his success with Help4Addiction, Nicholas launched Rehubs, an online addiction recovery platform, designed to make professional support more affordable, flexible, and accessible. The platform combines clinical expertise with digital innovation, providing a structured 28-day online rehab programme.

Recognised for his contributions to healthcare and technology, Nicholas was named “Male Innovator of the Year” by Technology Supply Chain in 2024. 

With a strong commitment to clinical excellence and ethical treatment, Nicholas collaborates with top professionals, including Professor Marcantonio Spada and Martin Rennison, to ensure Rehubs offers evidence-based, high-quality care. His work has positioned him as a trusted voice in addiction recovery, frequently featured in the media as an authority on addiction treatment and policy reform.

Taner Hassan is a highly experienced health and wellbeing specialist, addiction expert, and senior healthcare leader, with over 17 years of experience in mental health, addiction services, and residential treatment programmes. As Head of Service Delivery at Rehubs, he plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, clinical governance, and continuous improvement of the platform’s digital recovery services.

Throughout his career, Taner has worked across charities, private healthcare organisations, the HMP service, CCG/ICB, and the NHS, gaining extensive experience in managing frontline addiction and mental health services. He has spent the last eight years in senior leadership roles, including Operations Director, CQC Nominated Individual, and Regional Operations Lead for Essex, overseeing service delivery and compliance across multiple healthcare settings.

In addition to his leadership expertise, Taner is a qualified Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist, with specialist training in:

At Rehubs, Taner’s mission is to ensure that the platform delivers high-quality, accessible, and clinically robust addiction recovery solutions. With his extensive background in both leadership and frontline clinical practice, he is instrumental in shaping Rehubs’ future as a leader in digital healthcare innovation.

Prof Spada is a distinguished psychologist specializing in addictive behaviors and mental health. He currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Onebright, the UK’s largest private outpatient mental healthcare provider, where he leads the delivery and governance of clinical services. ​

In addition to his role at Onebright, Professor Spada is the Clinical Lead and Advisor for Rehubs, contributing his extensive expertise to the development of innovative mental health solutions.​

With over 25 years of experience, Professor Spada has held several notable positions:

• Emeritus Professor of Addictive Behaviors and Mental Health at London South Bank University. ​ 
• Editor-in-Chief of the journal Addictive Behaviors, a leading publication in addiction psychology and psychiatry.

His research primarily focuses on metacognitive factors in addictive behaviors, aiming to develop and evaluate new psychological treatments targeting metacognitive change. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed scientific articles and several books, establishing himself as an international authority in his field. ​

Professor Spada’s contributions have been recognised through fellowships with both the British Psychological Society and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

His extensive clinical experience, combined with his research and leadership roles, continues to influence advancements in mental health and addiction treatment.

Martin Rennison is a highly experienced commercial healthcare leader, currently serving as Group Partnerships Director at Spire Healthcare. In this role, he is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, driving business growth, and expanding Spire’s network of collaborations to enhance patient access and service delivery. With a strong background in commercial strategy and private healthcare management, Martin has played a key role in shaping the business landscape of the sector.

Prior to this, Martin held several senior commercial roles within Spire Healthcare, leading on business development, commercial strategy, and partnership growth. His expertise lies in building high-value partnerships, increasing market reach, and driving revenue growth within private healthcare.

Alongside his role at Spire, Martin serves as a Strategic Advisor and Non-Executive Director at Rehubs, where he provides critical insights into commercial strategy, partnerships, and scaling digital healthcare solutions in addiction recovery and mental health services. His experience in the private healthcare market makes him instrumental in supporting Rehubs’ expansion and impact.

Martin is a Chartered Physiotherapist by background with Masters of Philosophy (Healthcare) from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Post Graduate Qualification in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Cardiff University Medical School.

Dr. Dev Singh is a Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience in the field of addiction. He has trained in both the UK and the USA, working across the NHS, private sector, and charity organisations, providing expertise in mental health, substance misuse, and behavioural addictions.

As Medical Director at Rehubs, Dr. Singh provides clinical oversight and strategic guidance, ensuring that Rehubs’ programmes are evidence-based, safe, and effective. His work focuses on education, advisory support, and innovative approaches to addiction recovery, helping individuals develop long-term strategies for managing their well-being.

Alongside his role at Rehubs, Dr. Singh is actively involved in teaching and training. He educates psychiatry residents and medical students at Cambridge University, contributing to the development of future mental health professionals. His key areas of interest include medical education, implants, polysubstance misuse, and iatrogenic dependence.

With a strong commitment to improving accessibility to high-quality support, Dr. Singh helps shape Rehubs’ approach to digital addiction recovery, ensuring that individuals receive the right knowledge, tools, and professional guidance to support their journey toward lasting change.
