Cookie is Rehubs’ Head of Distraction (HOD) and an 18-month-old red dapple miniature Dachshund with endless energy and charm. Fun-loving and affectionate, she’s known for leaping like a gazelle and enthusiastically sniffing out every new adventure. A self-proclaimed “smart cookie,” she has fully earned her title while remaining a master of distraction. During meetings, Cookie specialises in unsolicited cuddles and kisses, making it nearly impossible to stay focused and very easy to smile.
Cocoa is Rehubs’ much-loved CCO (Chief Cutie Officer) and trusted companion to the CEO. Often referred to as “the Wise One,” she is 13 years young (approximately 70 in dog years) Cockapoo and brings calm presence and quiet authority to the team. Cocoa is devoted to cuddles and leisurely walks, and can usually be found close to leadership decisions. Be warned—at any moment, including during meetings, she may fall asleep and snore loudly, reminding everyone to slow down and keep perspective.
Martin Rennison is a senior commercial healthcare leader and Strategic Advisor to Rehubs. He is Group Partnerships Director at Spire Healthcare, where he leads strategic partnerships, commercial growth, and market expansion across private healthcare. Martin brings extensive experience in business development, commercial strategy, and scaling high-value partnerships. Alongside his advisory and Non-Executive role at Rehubs, he provides critical insight into partnership development and sustainable growth in digital mental health and addiction services, supporting Rehubs’ expansion and long-term impact.
Wais is an experienced senior executive with a strong background in digital healthcare, technology, and consumer platforms. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Push Doctor, the NHS’s largest digital primary care partner, helping scale the platform to serve over six million patients and raise more than £50 million in funding. Prior to this, Wais held executive leadership roles across operations, product, digital technology, M&A, and international expansion at Just Eat and Treatwell. He also holds multiple non-executive and trustee roles across healthcare, retail, and sport.
Nicholas Conn is a leading addiction specialist, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate, and the Founder and CEO of Rehubs. A former police officer, his lived experience of addiction and recovery drives his commitment to improving access to ethical, evidence-based treatment. Nicholas leads the development of innovative, digitally enabled recovery services that combine clinical excellence with accessibility and flexibility. Recognised as Male Innovator of the Year 2024, he collaborates with leading clinicians to ensure Rehubs delivers high-quality, compassionate care that supports lasting recovery and meaningful change.
Taner Hassan is a senior healthcare leader, addiction specialist, and psychotherapist with over 17 years’ experience across mental health and addiction services. As Head of Service Delivery at Rehubs, he holds executive responsibility for operational performance, clinical governance, and service quality across the organisation’s digital recovery programmes. Taner has held senior leadership roles across NHS, private healthcare, and CQC-regulated services, bringing a rare combination of frontline clinical expertise and strategic operational leadership. With 19 years in recovery himself, he integrates lived experience with professional rigour to ensure Rehubs delivers ethical, effective, and scalable care.
Alex Goodman is Data Protection Officer at Rehubs and an experienced data privacy and compliance professional with a strong background in GDPR, audit, and risk management. He is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of data protection and regulatory compliance across all services. With over a decade of experience spanning governance, financial services, fraud prevention, and enforcement, Alex brings robust expertise in information governance and compliance assurance. He oversees data protection policies, training, and impact assessments, supporting Rehubs to deliver ethical, transparent, and confidential care.
Charlene Grant is Admissions Manager at Rehubs, bringing over four years’ experience as an Admissions Counsellor and Coordinator within addiction and mental health services. She plays a key role in supporting clients and families at the first point of contact, ensuring a compassionate, clear, and supportive admissions journey. With six years in recovery herself, Charlene brings lived experience alongside professional expertise, helping individuals feel understood, informed, and confident as they begin their recovery journey. She is committed to ethical practice, accessibility, and delivering a safe and supportive client experience.
Rebecca is a Person-Centred Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals with trauma, addiction, and emotional wellbeing. As Clinical Lead at Rehubs, she oversees services and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safe, ethical, and high-quality care. She has worked across NHS services, private clinics, and specialist settings, including complex and high-pressure environments. Rebecca’s approach integrates authentic therapeutic connection with somatic and trauma-informed techniques, helping clients explore root causes and create lasting change.
Nick Earl is an MNCPS-accredited and MBACP-registered Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Counselling Supervisor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds. He has worked across substance misuse detox and rehabilitation services, community drug and alcohol programmes, domestic violence services, and private practice. As a bank therapist at Rehubs, Nick specialises in Aftercare support, drawing on cognitive, psychodynamic, attachment, and relational approaches to deliver tailored therapy that promotes sustained recovery, emotional healing, and meaningful personal growth.
Radost Ruseva is a psychotherapist with over six years’ experience supporting eating disorder recovery across early intervention and private care settings. She is passionate about helping individuals develop compassionate, balanced relationships with food and their bodies. Drawing on evidence-based approaches including CBT-E, MANTRA, and FT-AN, Radost supports sustainable, values-led change. She has supervised trainee therapists and led early intervention services for children, with her work grounded in accessibility, early support, and holistic wellbeing.
Rashikkha Ra Iyer (Rush) is a BACP-registered and NCPS-accredited psychotherapist with a specialist Master’s in Addiction, a Master’s in Psychotherapy, and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology. She brings extensive experience from crisis teams, 111 services, prison healthcare, dry houses, and community recovery settings. Rush specialises in addiction and recovery, with additional expertise in forensic mental health and psychospirituality. Her person-centred approach blends motivational interviewing, Socratic questioning, and clean language. Known for her warmth and humour, she creates a safe, non-judgemental space that supports self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change.
Amanda Guest is an accredited counsellor and addiction practitioner, registered with the NCPS and an Advanced Practitioner with Addiction Professionals. She is also a member of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals. Amanda has supported individuals experiencing addiction and mental health challenges across residential, community, and private practice settings. Her approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive therapeutic space that strengthens self-awareness, builds resilience, and supports individuals to move towards lasting, positive change.
May Edwards is a BACP-accredited Integrative Therapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting individuals to heal from addiction and childhood trauma. Her approach is empathetic, honest, and collaborative, grounded in deep respect for each client’s capacity for growth and change. May has worked with a diverse range of clients, including traumatised police officers, supporting the development of healthier coping strategies and resilience. Therapy with May offers a relational, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, appropriately challenged, and empowered to reconnect with their inner strength and wisdom.
Sara Hausmann is a Registered Dietitian with over 15 years’ experience in private practice, specialising in personalised nutrition to support metabolic health and long-term wellbeing. Sara works with a wide range of needs, including obesity (including clients using GLP-1 medications), type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and disordered eating. Katie Knowles is a Personal Trainer specialising in strength and conditioning, HYROX, and Muay Thai–inspired fitness. Katie delivers tailored programmes designed to meet clients where they are and support sustainable progress, whether they are new to exercise or working towards specific performance goals. Emily Meade is an accredited UKCP integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor with extensive experience supporting individuals affected by addiction, eating disorders, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. Her approach is relational, person-centred, and flexible, drawing on evidence-based therapeutic methods to create a safe and supportive space for change. Emily has experience facilitating and managing therapeutic groups and offers tailored support to help clients explore their experiences, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of coping. Nese Targen is a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years’ experience in bariatric surgery, complex obesity, and weight management. She holds a BSc in Dietetics from University of Plymouth and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Oxford Brookes University. Nese has worked across NHS hospital settings, supporting pre- and post-bariatric care and GLP-1–assisted weight loss. She supports conditions including type 2 diabetes, PCOS, high cholesterol, and fatty liver disease through personalised, evidence-based nutrition. A former committee member of the British Dietetic Association Obesity Group, she values MDT working and empowers clients through education, motivation, and sustainable change. Fluent in English and Turkish.
Pin Khor holds a First-Class Honours BSc in Sports Therapy from the University of Essex and a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science. He has worked across physiotherapy clinics and professional sports teams, including AFC Wimbledon and Essex Rebels. Pin specialises in injury treatment and rehabilitation for both athletes and the general public, with a particular interest in knee injuries and strength and conditioning. His tailored, goal-focused approach supports recovery, movement, and long-term independence.
Rochelle Craig is an accredited addiction counsellor with over 30 years in recovery from compulsive overeating and nearly 20 years’ professional experience supporting individuals with disordered eating. At Rehubs, she works with a wide range of destructive eating behaviours, including pre- and post-bariatric support, using compassionate, evidence-informed approaches. Rochelle holds a Master’s degree in Psychology of Addiction and Counselling and is a member of BACP and Addiction Professionals. She brings warmth, lived understanding, and clinical expertise to her work.
Bayan Abdulla is a UK-registered HCPC Dietitian with experience across NHS, private, and freelance settings. At Rehubs, she delivers personalised nutrition therapy for adults using GLP-1 medication, supporting sustainable, evidence-based approaches to weight management. Bayan specialises in culturally inclusive care, tailoring nutrition support for diverse populations. She holds a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Surrey and is completing specialist training in IBS and the Low FODMAP Diet at King’s College London.
