Anoushka Beazley

Psychotherapist

We are thrilled to welcome Anoushka Beazley, MSc, PgDip, a highly experienced trauma trained psychotherapist and counsellor, registered with UKCP and BACP. Anoushka has spent years working across private practice, a practicing counsellor in multiple GP surgeries in the NHS, Mind and other charities. She works with clients presenting with a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, abuse, childhood emotional neglect and abandonment, family & social relationship difficulties and cultural and race issues.

Anoushka’s personal approach is formed from Transactional Analysis; the social behavioural study of human interaction. Attachment theory; the first pattern of relating formed via parents and family experiences and existentialism; the philosophy of who we are in the world, what we want in our lives and how we make our choices. She sees the therapeutic relationship as an anchor during times when life feels too overwhelming to go it alone. She believes people are their own story and works intuitively and with compassion – everyone has the right to feel understood.

Anoushka has an arts background, an MA in Creative Writing and BA in Film and writes fiction and nonfiction, strongly believing in the power of the creative drive as a gateway to healing.
